Peters, John Snowden, Kate 0969-6474 Emerald Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management Education http://dx.doi.org/10.1108/09696470810907356 <jats:sec><jats:title content-type="abstract-heading">Purpose</jats:title><jats:p>The purpose of this paper is to reflect on the journal and organizational learning over the years.</jats:p></jats:sec><jats:sec><jats:title content-type="abstract-heading">Design/methodology/approach</jats:title><jats:p>The approach adopted is that of providing a viewpoint perspective to look at the concept of the learning organization.</jats:p></jats:sec><jats:sec><jats:title content-type="abstract-heading">Findings</jats:title><jats:p>By looking at organizational learning partly from the perspective of a publisher, this will, hopefully, provoke reflections, particularly amongst others engaged in both the delivery and the consumption of practice and study.</jats:p></jats:sec><jats:sec><jats:title content-type="abstract-heading">Originality/value</jats:title><jats:p>The paper is one of a series commissioned by the journal.
