It is found that the microstructure, crystallographic texture, and magnetic softness of the multilayers depended on the initial layer. Multilayers with saturation magnetic induction higher than 23kG and hard axis coercivity smaller than 2Oe have been successfully prepared by using Co as the initial layer. Furthermore, the structure provided an effective process to tailor the in-plane magnetic anisotropy field without deteriorating the magnetic softness of the multilayers.</jats:p> Soft magnetic properties of FeCo films with high saturation magnetization Journal of Applied Physics |
