Preliminary results of the 14 GHz SERSE superconducting electron cyclotron resonance ion source working in high-B mode

The specifications of the design field were reached and exceeded. The new coils were mounted and SERSE is now able to run at full performance magnetic field. The today’s status of the facility, electron cyclotron resonance source and new magnetic configuration, is described.
