The results presented show the summary of plasma studies regarding the positive ion beams in the absence of external fields. These results make possible the numerical simulations or the qualitative predictions of the main properties for the transported beams (boundary particles trajectories, spatial distributions of static and variable fields, emittance, etc.).
Physics of ion beam plasma and problems of intensive ion beam transportation (invited)a) Review of Scientific Instruments
